CEF Industries has been engineering electromechanical systems for aerospace and defense applications for over 75 years. Our electromechanical product line combines precision motion, reliable control, and rugged construction to meet the demands of fixed-wing, rotary-wing, and military transport platforms worldwide.
CEF designs and manufactures linear and rotary electro-mechanical actuators for a range of aerospace applications — from landing gear actuation and cargo lock actuation to secondary flight controls and air inlet door actuation. Built with brushless DC motor technology, sealed construction, and integrated position control, our aerospace actuators are qualified to Mil-STD-810 and proven across defense and commercial platforms.
For over 40 years, CEF has designed and manufactured control electronics for aerospace and defense systems — from simple motor and sensor interfaces to complex, multi-channel closed-loop servo control systems. Our designs support electromechanical actuation, cargo handling, helicopter systems, radar components, and more, meeting MIL-461 and RTCA DO-160 standards.
CEF is a proven global designer and supplier of cargo handling system components for military and commercial aircraft. Our capabilities span lockboxes, rails, rollers, conveyors, actuators, gearboxes, flexshafts, towplates, and more — backed by decades of heritage and a role as the primary supplier of over 75 component LRUs to every C-130J in service.
CEF manufactures actuated and retractable landing lights for aerospace platforms, including dual-mode configurations that combine visible and infrared capability for specialized mission requirements. Our designs are aircraft-tested, Mil-STD-810 qualified, and built for long service life with easy lamp replacement.
